Communications Manager, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority
Amanda Arentsen is a communication manager with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority working to promote Las Vegas as the world’s leading destination for business and leisure travel.
She previously served as media relations director and senior account executive at Las Vegas-based public relations and advertising firm, MassMedia.
Prior to her role at MassMedia, Amanda served as a television news producer with the local FOX affiliate in Las Vegas, KVVU, where she covered major local and national news stories.
Amanda has proudly called Las Vegas home since the age of three. She received a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. She also has a minor in human communication from the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication.
In her spare time, Amanda enjoys experiencing all of the ever-evolving activities Las Vegas has to offer, spending time with loved ones (including her recently-adopted pug) and volunteering with Best Buddies Nevada.
