Rick Calvert is the CEO and Co-Founder of BlogWorld & New Media Expo. He has been active the trade show industry since 1996 serving as Sales Manager / Director of Sales for three Tradeshow Week 200 events including the SEMA Show, AWFS®Vegas and the DEMA Show as well as one of the nation's largest consumer shows, ComicCon. He has been a voracious new media consumer since 2000 and launched his own blog The Real Ugly American in 2005. After searching in vein for an industry wide "new media tradeshow" he decided to launch BlogWorld in 2006.
