Building; a Powerful Networking Force -
How does
Joel Jarvis engage and motivate more than 100,000 people in the city
of Las Vegas with a few keystrokes? Join us for our November luncheon
and learn how Las Vegas master networker has taken his family,
friends, colleagues, email subscribers, website visitors and the like
and turned them into a powerful networking force. Learn how, in a time
of plummeting budgets, higher expectations and media fragmentation,
you can engage, motivate and monetize a database of contacts.
Joel discussed database building techniques,
best (and worst) practices, cover ROI and discuss the WIFM (Whats
In It For Me) factor.

Joel G Jarvis is an agent/producer at
Kaercher Campbell and Associates Insurance Brokerage in the Specialty
Practice division. He specializes in large property and casualty
and Professional Liability to include Errors and Omissions Insurance,
and Directors and Officers coverage for Boards of Directors. Joel
has extensive experience developing property and casualty programs
for clients in various industries as well, including attorneys,
transportation, hospitality, and construction. |

He has over ten years experience in the insurance industry and
an additional seven years as an internal accountant working for
Las Vegas Sands, Inc, Perlman Architecture, Capitol Pacific Homes
and Accountants Inc. Prior to joining Kaercher Campbell and Associates
he worked as an independent accountant serving small to mid-size
corporations with accounting consulting, and general accounting
services. Early in his insurance career he handled auto, home
life, health, as well as annuities policies as an agent with Horace
Mann Insurance Companies serving teachers of the Clark County
School District.
Joel is also the founder-owner-president of The LINK Las Vegas,
www.thelinklv.com , a business and social calendar of events and
promotions for his legions of networking followers. He sends emails
promoting networking events and other local promotions to bring
businesses and people together. His current database is over 100,000
strong.
Joel is an active member of the board of directors of Opportunity
Village, and a former board member for Aid for Aids of Nevada
(AFAN) and Jewish Family Service Agency. He also has served on
the Accreditation Team for the United Way of Southern Nevada,
and served for several other charities. He is actively involved
in the Clark County Bar Association as the Co-Chair of the Community
Service Committee since 2005. He acts as Chairman for the Member
Service Committee and serves as a volunteer at many of the associations
events.
He was awarded Ambassador of the Year by the Clark County Bar
Association in 2004, and he is the Liberty Bell Award winner for
2005, all while not being a licensed attorney. Joel currently
insures over 400 attorneys in Las Vegas.
Joel holds dual bachelor degrees in accounting, and finance and
law from Illinois State University where he graduated in 1993.
Joel has lived in Las Vegas since moving here in 1993. |

Registration policy for attending AMA Luncheons are as follows and
will be strictly enforced:
Members pay $35 in advance; Non-members pay $45. All walk-ins
will be charged $45 at the door. Members who have not paid their dues
are considered non-members until their dues are current and will be
charged accordingly.
Registrations are nonrefundable and nontransferable, and cannot
be applied for future payment of luncheons or other AMA events.
