The Marketing Operations Coordinator will be focused on traffic control for all marketing related activities including asset management, cross-functional communications, digital communications scheduling, record maintenance, vendor relationships, and campaign execution. The Marketing Operations Coordinator will report to the Director of Marketing and assist with special projects in tandem with daily responsibilities.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule email and SMS/MMS communications
- Distribute creative assets to cross-functional partners
- Traffic all advertising efforts to appropriate channels
- Manage print contractors and other promotional vendors
- Maintain overall project planning calendar and master timeline for marketing and research, including key events, milestones and deliverables
- Create and manage project timeline/calendar/schedule and workflow tools, track and report on key deliverables
- Participate in weekly team meetings to review progress and deliverables
- Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success
- Route communications and manage marketing calendars in collaboration with teams
- Customer reputation management
- Support research outreach, such as support for event production and webinar logistics; conduct basic desk research as needed
- Organize promotional activities for new product and service launches
- Create and manage surveys, behavioral and market research, and competitive analysis
- Maintain records of compliance reviews, state approvals, and marketing contracts
- Create and maintain an online and offline library of marketing and research assets, reports, resources, articles, speeches and presentations, and assist team with requests for these items
- Support vendor management; oversee logistics and payment
- Manage basic operations of the office, including but not limited to managing supplies, service needs, and filing
- Perform other duties when needed
Examples of Marketing Operations Coordinator daily responsibilities
- Scheduling weekly promotional emails and texts
- Working with print and promotional vendors for quotes, shipment tracking, and asset distribution
- Providing vendor, cross-functional, and third-party teams with assets, information, and approved plans
- Running weekly KPI reports across all tracked channels
- Distribute artwork to signage teams and manage all outwardly facing advertising

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Proficiency with Google Analytics and web analysis tools
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of cannabis and the cannabis industry preferred
- Active agent card (preferred)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related discipline
- Self starter. Willing and able to handle responsibilities with minimal direction
- Proficient excel user with experience in creating excel based tools
- Strong analytical and data mining skills
- Ability to influence leveraging data, functional expertise, and retail experience
- Strong problem-solving skills to make timely and sound decisions
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- 3+ years’ experience in a marketing role
