Stormie is the president and founder of Yokel Local Marketing, an Internet marketing company founded here in Las Vegas in 2010. At Yokel Local he provides exclusive services to traditional brick and mortar businesses to help them gain traction on the internet.
He has always been intrigued with online marketing. However, it wasn’t until he met his business partner, Darrell Evans, when he truly understood how powerful the internet could be. It was this realization, combined with the knowledge that most business owners needed help, but not knowing how to proceed or who to trust, that he became entrenched in the industry. His greatest satisfaction is when his clients tell him how much Yokel Local has impacted their business.
Like a true local, Stormie is a fan of the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels. Even though they’ve had a few rocky years, he has not jumped ship. What a loyal fan!
Stormie has started to enjoy the home projects that his wife assigns to him. Great outlook! A few months ago, he built a bar and, he is proud to say, it turned out great!
His long term goals include being in a position to take bi-monthly or weekly vacations with his wife. We say that’s great, as long as there are no additional projects involved. That is, unless she wants you to build another bar – there’s always time to build a bar.
We would like to thank Stormie for the opportunity to get to know him better and for his years of dedication to American Marketing Association. Please take the time to introduce yourself at this upcoming luncheon, and don’t forget to wish him a happy 25th anniversary, with his wife and best friend, Sandra.
