About the Scholarship
The AMA Las Vegas is proud to offer up to four scholarships, each valued at $500. We recognize the importance of supporting emerging marketers in their pursuit of excellence. Through this scholarship program, we aim to provide a platform for your growth, recognition, and connection within the vibrant marketing community.
Key Dates and Notifications
- Applications will be meticulously reviewed by the AMA Las Vegas Board of Directors during their regularly scheduled board meeting or a special session in May.
- Notification of the board’s decision will be communicated to applicants no later than May 31st, offering clarity on the scholarship status.
- Successful scholarship recipients will be invited to the prestigious June luncheon, where they will be recognized by the AMA Las Vegas membership for their outstanding achievements.
- Scholarships will be awarded to recipients in mid-August, opening doors for educational advancement and career development.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for this scholarship opportunity, applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student for the upcoming fall semester.
- Pursuit of a career in MARKETING or a MARKETING related field, showcasing your dedication to the industry.
- Minimum 3.00 grade point average. (Applicants with lower grade point averages may still be considered if they demonstrate exceptional qualifications or have extenuating circumstances.)
- Citizenship or residency in the U.S., underlining your commitment to contributing to the local marketing landscape.
